This 9-day expedition brings together the finest landscapes of Morocco's mountains and desert. Start with a hike in the magnificent High Atlas, culminating in the climb of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), North Africa's tallest peak. Encounter the allure of Berber villages, stunning valleys, and the impressive Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Proceed south to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, Ouarzazate, and the palm-filled Draa Valley before arriving at the gateway to the Sahara. Here, embark on a camel journey across the expansive Erg Chigaga dunes, camping beneath star-filled skies, witnessing enchanting desert sunsets and sunrises, and losing yourself in the quiet and splendor of the Sahara.

Clothing to Pack:
- Sun hat
- Warm hat
- Scarf or shemagh (can be wetted for cooling)
- Sunglasses
- Long-sleeved shirts or cotton t-shirts
- Sweaters (one mid-weight, one warm)
- Windproof and waterproof jacket with a hood
- Breathable, quick-drying underwear
- Warm gloves
- Comfortable, quick-drying long trousers
- Waterproof over-trousers
- 1-2 pairs of long shorts
- Comfortable shoes for camp (trainers or sandals)
- Wool or cotton socks
- Sturdy hiking boots (with ankle support and robust soles)
Equipment to Pack:
- Sleeping bag (rated to at least -5°C)
- Water bottle or flask (minimum 1-litre capacity)
- Head torch with extra batteries and bulb
- Personal toiletries (including wet wipes)
- Toilet paper and a lighter for responsible disposal
- Main duffel bag (70-100 litres, soft-sided and water-resistant, must not exceed 15kg)
- Daypack (30-40 litres) for daily essentials
- Water purification method (charcoal filter, purification tablets, etc.)
