This 8-day cultural odyssey takes you through Morocco's rich northern heritage,
from the modern coastal city of Casablanca and its majestic Hassan II Mosque, to
the political capital of Rabat, the charm of Tangier and Tetouan, a nature hike to
the Akchour Waterfalls, and the blue-washed alleys of Chefchaouen, before
uncovering the deep history of Fes after a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis.
A balanced tour combining imperial cities, Andalusian architecture, Mediterranean
culture, Berber mountain villages, and unforgettable landscapes.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Meet and welcome at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport by MAT Voyages tour
guide.
Private transfer to your hotel. Short orientation walk if time permits.
Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 2 – Casablanca → Rabat Guided Tour → TGV to Tangier

Visit the Hassan II Mosque: The biggest mosque in Morocco and a masterpiece of
Moroccan craftsmanship.
Continue to Rabat for a guided city tour including, Hassan Tower & Mausoleum of
Mohammed V, Kasbah of the Udayas, Chellah archaeological site and the Royal
Palace area (from outside)
Board the TGV (Al Boraq) late this afternoon for a comfortable high-speed train
ride to Tangier. Overnight in Tangier.
Day 3 – Tangier Sightseeing → Tetouan
Morning guided visit of Tangier includes, Cap Spartel, The Medina & Grand
Socco, Kasbah and views over the Strait of Gibraltar
Afternoon transfer to Tetouan (1–1.5 hrs). Overnight in Tetouan.
Day 4 – Tetouan Tour → Akchour Hike → Chefchaouen
Morning guided tour through Tetouan, one of the most authentic medinas in
Morocco and a stronghold of Andalusian culture. Visit the following: Royal Palace
square, The Medina UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Artisan school of
traditional crafts.
Afternoon drive to the Rif Mountains for a moderate hike to Akchour Waterfalls —
beautiful natural pools, green canyons, and forested trails.
After this hike, head onward to Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl. Overnight in
Chefchaouen.
Day 5 – Chefchaouen sightseeing
A relaxing day to explore the photogenic blue streets of Chefchaouen.
Visit highlights such as: Outa el-Hammam square, Kasbah Museum, Ras El Ma
water source, local artisanal shops.
Free afternoon for wandering, photos, or optional short hikes. Overnight in
Chefchaouen.
Day 6 – Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Fes
Leave early in the morning from Chefchaouen and head south to Volubilis, the
most well-preserved Roman archaeological site in Morocco.
Enjoy a guided tour of the ruins, mosaics, basilica, and ancient villas.
Continue to Fes, arriving in the late afternoon. Overnight in Fes.
Day 7 – Full-Day Fes Medina Tour
Guided sightseeing through the historic medina of Fes el-Bali, the cultural and
spiritual capital of Morocco. Visit: Bou Inania Madrasa, Tannery Chouara,
Nejjarine Fountain & Museum, Al-Qarawiyyin University (exterior), Artisans'

Souks: metalwork, woodwork, ceramics. Afternoon visit of the Fes el-Jdid district
or pottery workshop. Overnight in Fes.
Day 8 – Fes → Casablanca Airport (Departure)
Transfer from Fes to Casablanca Airport in the morning (approx. 3.5–4 hrs).
Departure and end of your tour.
